Did you know that the longest-running FREE sustainability fair in the country, The Crestone Energy Fair, is happening in your back yard September 16th and 17th in Crestone, CO? Featuring an incredible opportunity to learn about alternative/green building technologies such as Earthships, Hemp Crete, and Strawbale homes. The Crestone Energy Fair also features conversations in high altitude gardening and farming, alternative energy generation, and holistic healing modalities. As the Broker/Owner of Mountainside Realty and a Green Certification holder, I am also the producer of this event and have found it a wealth of free knowledge that can help you in the future in selling homes that utilize green and alternative building methods. Not only are there conversations about the different building types, but there are also home tours of finished and unfinished homes, as well as building demonstrations showcasing different technologies.
