The Chaffee Housing Trust will share details on its homeownership program and homebuyer readiness services, designed to help you prepare for and successfully navigate the path to purchasing a home. 

The Chaffee Housing Authority will provide an overview of: 

• Salida Inclusionary Housing Rental programs 
• The Stable Housing Program

Together, these organizations will help clarify how their two programs work hand-in-hand to support housing at every stage. 

Financing Options

A local lending expert will walk through accessible loan programs, including: 

• Low down payment conventional loans (as little as 3%) 
• Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) down payment assistance programs 
• Federal Housing Administration loan (FHA) options, including low credit flexibility and potential 0% down programs 
• United States Department of Agriculture loan program (USDA) 100% financing opportunities for eligible areas
